I'm supporting Howard Dean, who is, IMHO, the most authentic Democrat in the
race. Lieberman is a Republican in disguise, and Kerry, Edwards, and
Gephardt are too entrenched in the establishment. I refuse to support any
politician who supported this war.
Sharpton and Moseley-Braun have no chance, so supporting them would be a
waste of time. I will not support Kucinich because he was not pro-choice
until he started to consider running for President. I'm not crazy about
Dean's stance on gun control, in fact I totally disagree with it, but no one
is perfect. However, I'm a fan of his strong and consistent support for
LGBT equality, reproductive rights, peace, health care, and the environment,
so he's my man in 2004. I don't think he will be able to beat Bush, but I
would rather vote for someone that I believe in. If it comes down to Bush
or Lieberman, I'm voting Nader.
