It put outs 5 on low, 10 med, and on high, 50 watts on 2 meters, 35 on 440.
As for the speaker, the built in one is alright, but I use a radio shack
mobile speaker for CB radios and stuff, cost me about $15 and for any FM
radio, any band, it's always been so much better then anything else I could
think of using so I use that, but the built in speaker isn't bad though. I
just like the radio shack speaker a lot better.
