I really don't know as don't know what i did to cause this problem; but, did try your suggestion and didn't seem to work; but, since didn't have any beeps wasn't sure if was turned on or off.  So wil have my sightted friend   try this for me and hopefully wil get reset.    Then wil at the same time get them to set the menu 9 to pc so can use the programming cable and sw and have them show me how to do this myself so can next time.
