Subtones aren't that difficult.  If you have the chart, hit func with the #4
key to go into tone-select mode.  If you want to set a 100HZ PL tone, turn the
multi-channel knob counterclockwise until it beeps.  This is the first
position, which is 67HZ, I think.  Now, count 11 detents which places you in
position 12.  This is the 100 HZ setting.

By the way, the menu has 39 settings.  The 39th position is the 1750HZ tone
which is used in Europe.  The other setting you need to make is in Menu 42,
you need to set it to C for Continuous when using a CTCSS tone, as having it
on B for burst would not hold the transmit on a repeater looking for the
access subaudiable tone.
