IT helkped me out when I took my extra because I spaced my sharp
calculator. I was able to round some numbrs and get close.

OUr w5yi ve didn't like to order braille exams though they were
avilable because he had experience with folks that weren't real good
braille readeers, so he had two examiners one reading and the other
marking my answer sheet.

THe reader did a decent job, and the fellow marking my answer sheet
was an old radio and electronics tech for the railroad and knew his
stuff. HE tried to confuse me a couple times by doing the "are you
sure you want D" thing. I'd satisfy him and have reader read the
question ahd the choices again and most times still pick the same
answer.

Btw I wouldn't have been welcome to serve with that ve team due to
leader's misconceptions, but have no trouble with the local club I
belong to. WHat I'd read on this list and his misconceptions meant I
never signed up with 5yi, but I at least try to do one session a year
to keep my certification.
