What ifs are what make the world go round.  You're certainly correct in that
this would make a very interesting potential dissertation.  The biggest problem
would be in finding enough appropriate people to fill each catagory.  You would
pretty much have to be doing work through a university system rather than as a
private person.  The biggest problem would be that your people would be spread
out all over the place thus making training difficult to control.  Very
interesting idea and certainly worth someone following up.
