Actually, none of those ideas are implied by the Paleo Diet, which humans
abandoned 10,000 years ago.
Humans have many of the same maladies in mummified bodies from several thousand
years (cf "Protein Power" book), prior to any of the techniques mentioned.
Much opposition to GMO and other techniques comes from science-free irrational
knee-jerk responses.
Most environmentalism of the past couple of decades is primarily political.
