Actually vertical ridges on nails may indicate a form of arthritis! The
urine-acid that enters the bloodstream may cause this. Ofcourse old age
arthritis can occur at the same time as the ridges but with a younger person
it might be a good idea to get things checked out. Such as, do I have
arthritis perhaps, what foods might induce this etc...
I know eating Paleo cleared me of most of my sarcoidose. Having fallen off the
wagon last summer due to serious problems I developed one of the symptoms, an
eye-inflammation which is still not over now. I'm on Prednisone this last week
because I was going blind. Typing on feel here and nearly blind as a bat right
now.
And yes, nails more ridgy than before... But slowly clearing up, also because
I'm eating more Paleo (man, is cold turkey difficult or what?).
