I grill my steaks one minute on a side, 3 inches below gas grill. The
studies that I recall on the "dangers " of grilled meat only applied when you
charred the meat. I only have steak about once every two weeks so I have no
problems with grilling. I steam the rest of my meat 95% of the time. JerrySteg
