I may have to call Kenwood tech support on this one. I have the mc57 mike
and turned on the remote function in the menu as instructed. I think 45d.
When this is on you can enter frequencies and other stuff from the keypad
on the mike. the six, for example, speaks the frequency. The manual says
when in transmit mode, these controls won't function and touch tones will
be sent. Well, touchtones are indeed sent, but the controls still work.
So if I'm in xmit mode and press six to send a dtmf 6, it does that, but
also speaks the frequency. Anyone else have the mike that can confirm
this or anyone else have any ideas?
