I am confused by the number of posts referring to celiacs who are trying to
lose weight. My daughter was dx'd after a 20 lb loss from 120 to 100 at 5'5"
and can't gain a pound to save her life on this diet. She has been totally
gf for four months. She doesn't eat the breads but eats the Bi-Aglut pasta
frequently. She also likes the Pamela's Brownies and GF Pantry muffin mix so
she does eat some baked goods. I was curious about how many celiacs were
overweight vs. underweight. My daughter's attitude is that she eats to live
not lives to eat and it helps her from grieving over foods she once loved
and can no longer have.
Thanks,
Kathy
