written by dietitians Melinda Dennis and Shelley Case featured in the
April 2004 Practical Gastroenterology Journal. It can be downloaded for
free and passed along to health professionals and anyone else who needs

I am delighted to be presenting at the National Institute of Health
(NIH) Celiac Consensus Conference in Bethesda, MD June 28-30. My topic
is "How to educate patients effectively and provide resources:
gluten-free diets". Cynthia Kupper, RD, Executive Director of Gluten
Intolerance Group (GIG) will be the other dietitian presenting on
"Dietary guidelines for celiac disease and implementation". There are 18
physicians specializing in celiac disease who will also be presenting.
Health professionals and the general public can attend the sessions. Go

For those in eastern Canada and the US, I will be speaking at the
Canadian Celiac Association (CCA) annual conference in Halifax, Nova
