hi, list,
am in the process of changing insurance carrier with a job change -
how will my celiac discovery over the last few years affect coverage?
has anyone had any experience with this?
will do my best to condense and summarize:)
what are the issues involving pre-existing conditions?
my info says if one is not listed, then no treatment for 12 months;
if it is listed, can ins. cov. be refused? some input suggested a
protection under "chronic conditions" - American w/ disabilities Act.
am not one to go to the doctor much; my treatment has been just
tests and diet and consultation with a nutritionist (that was not
covered anyway.) and am pretty much symptom-free at this time.
best to you in '04:) lfj
thanks in advance for any and all input, ( but would appreciate if
we can keep it to a positive vein? am hurting a little at this time,
one thing and another.)
