Here's what I find, checked against standard ascii charts, and
both my alva and Papenmeier notex.
The exception is the Alva which shows the first char, decimal 248
as dots 6 and 7.  That's all I know and probably more than I want too.

I certainly have no idea what codes Jaws uses or why.
