Hi Ron and Paleophiles!
>While I

I have the rigorously investigated research.
Coincidentally, I purchased some 'wild' boar from my neighbourhood
wild meat butcher recently.
As the days of eating boar went by, I developed burning itchy acne,
so painful that I had to go to bed with ice packs on my back and
shoulders; arthritis developed in my right knee, my left thumb began
to get arthritis and I became lethargic.
I decided to check out what these "wild' boars were eating:

Wheat!, barley!, soy! and premix?
(I had naively hoped that the boars had eaten their traditional diet
of acorns, tubers and earthworms).
So I would conclude that if the boar is being fed a grain free, soy
free, non-genetically engineered diet, it would be safe, but
otherwise it can make people who are longtime celiacs or paleopeople very ill.
I looked up 'pork feed' and read this:
Garbage should only be fed to swine if established food safety
practices are adhered to.
From:
http://www.cvm.uiuc.edu/safepork/feed.html
Pigs are fed grains:

So, celiacs who are intolerant to gluten and intolerant paleopeople
could have a problem with pork too.
Paleobest,
Susan
