What about desiccated liver tablets? I've been considering taking them as a
morning "pick me up". I remember reading that Jack LaLanne (sp?) used to
have a protein drink after his 2 hour morning workout that included a
handful of liver tablets. Seems to have worked pretty well for him.

Does anyone take des. liver tabs? I'm looking for a good source locally,
and nobody seems to carry them anymore. Which seems strange because you
used to be able to buy huge containers of them at just about any health
food store.
