There is an attention-riveting, mostly pictorial article called "Dance of
Death" in the May issue of National Geographic. Set in Denali National
Park, there's the pack of wolves, young bull moose, raven, and mother brown
bear and twin cubs. It's tough to see the handsome young moose die over
several days from wounds initially inflicted on its hind quarters by the
wolves. That's the wolves' moose hunting => killing technique. A
fascinating food chain.
