Asthma, I don't know. Seasonal allergies yes. I have a lot less trouble
when I eat low carb in the spring. A LOT less. This year I have had
only one night of poor sleep. Before I started paleo and low carb I
suffered the entire months of Feb-April. I advised a friend's wife who
had the same allergy to try low carb. She said it was too tough, but
she did quit bread, and claimed that helped her a lot too.

Jogging seems to help too. Even before I started paleo I noticed that
evenings when I jogged I had little trouble with symptoms compared to
when I did not jog. YMMV
