Parts/Attachments:
text/plain (17 lines)
Specs:
Dell Dimension 4600 1.5 year old. Pent 4 2.4gig
2 hard drives 40gig boot, 80 gig backup, 768mg Dual Memory, Router DSL connection
Windows xp-2,Panda 2005,Winpatrol,windows antispy,
Problem:
I left the computer on at 2am and when I returned 7 hours there was an error message on desk top that a download could not take place. I had not scheduled a download but I have been having problems with Panda. I did recogonize the file name and rebooted the machine.

Upon reboot the Dell logo appears then a the message Primary Dive 0 not found,
Primary Drive 1 not found. Strike F1 key to continue, F2 to run setup. Selecting F1 returns the message. Selecting F2 and drive info no hard drives are recogonized.

It is difficult for me to believe that both hard drives have gone bad on reboot. I am also very car
eful about virus protection. Before I open the case and begin troubleshooting I am looking for other solutions. BTW my backups are on the 80 gig.
