Papaya is good for this. It kills off a lot of the bugs. Bananas help
control diarrhea. In desperation, carbonated drinks help too. When I
travel in 3rd world countries I try to eat lots of papaya and bananas,
and drink a soda every day. I very rarely get upset stomach.
