Most of our DNA is shared by members of the Order Primata an order older
than many of our continents. Our digestive systems are specilized by
evolution from theirs. All of our digestive systems were formed long before
we were Human. The technology-dependent foods forbidden in NeanderThin (
grains, beans, potatoes, the milk of other species and refined sugars) have
never been consumed by Primates in Nature.
As a falconer I could feed my Harris Hawk (Jack ) Purina Cat Chow. After
all, in Nature cats and hawks eat exactly the same thing, why not avoid the
bother of whole small animals crowding out the people food in the freezer?
However if I did so, and word got out, The State of Texas would confiscate
my bird and revoke my falconry permits. It's the law that I must only feed
my raptor what it would eat in Nature.
Now I don't expect most of you to live by Texas standards - even Troy's
former back-up band and fellow Texans the Dixie Chicks don't agree with most
of them but I think this is one that is low enough for even me to meet for
my bird.
Why should I set a lower standard for my own nutrition - or for even my
cat's!
