Hi Listmates,

I seem to have trouble getting rice other than Minute Rice to turn out well and was wondering if a rice cooker would solve my problem.

I follow the directions and the liquid disappears, but the rice is never done and sometimes it is almost gummy or sticky, too.
I have tried various kinds of white rice, wild rice and brown rice.

I have read that some rice cookers also steam vegetables and that might be nice too.

Does anyone have recommendations regarding which rice cooker is a good choice? If you have any negative comments about a certain rice cooker, please also reply. I will summarize.
