I need some help understanding my daughter's test results.....but first
let me give you some background information.. One daughter was
biopsy diagnosed at the age of 18 months. (She is now 15 and
healthier than anyone else in the family). Because the doctor
suggested my other children be tested - I did so. The middle child
had nothing in her lab report to warrent concern. Everything was well
in the average range in all areas. My youngest daughter - 7 years of
age - has never really shown any symptoms either...but she had one
test in the high range. Here are the test results - as I can read them:
GLIADIN AB IgA - 4 (less than 20 units considered negative)
GLIADIN AB IgG - 29 (this falls in the weak positive range of 24-30
units)
TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE -3 (less than 20 considered neg.)

I now need someone to tell me - in plain english - what the one
positive test means............does one weak positive mean she should
follow the g.free diet. I can't see putting her on the diet if she has
never shown any signs or symptoms. If someone could let me know if
one of these test is more important than the other - or just what these
results mean I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Lori
