Thanks to all who sent info for Eau Claire.
Several people mentioned Festival Foods grocery store for gluten free
shopping.
I got several suggestions to try mock lobster tails when my husband wants
a fish fry.
One recommendation was The Timber Lodge Steakhouse, they have a gluten
free menu on their website http://www.timberlodgesteakhouse.com. They
have three other locations in Wisconsin, twenty in Minnesota, and one each
in Fargo ND, Soiux Falls SD, Naperville IL, Niagara Falls NY and Omaha
Nebraska
I ate at The Timber Lodge Steakhouse and had the Salmon with vegetables
and garlic mashed potatoes with no problem. I printed off the menu from
the web and took it with me to the restaurant and ordered per
instructions, e.g. no seasoning or butter.
I drove by several restaurants that I know are in the Silly Yaks
Restaurant Guide: Panera, Famous Dave’s and Olive Garden
I also stopped at Festival Foods, and was impressed with there selections
of Gluten Free foods, including a large selection of Grandma Feldon bakery
in the frozen food section. I got some donut holes which where good.
