OK, I tried the Van's plain waffles for my oldest son, age 10 with autism, for his beloved peanut butter sandwich, and he gobbled it up. I just wrapped the frozen waffles up in a paper towel and microwaved for about 30 sec. They stayed soft that way. He will not eat crunchy bread. My three year old likes hotdogs (I have bought the organic turkey with no nitrates), so I may try the corn tortilla idea for that...not the waffles.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.

Trina
