Hi All,
This is a question for parents of Celiac children (young and old). My
daughter is 21 months old and was diagnosed with Celiac about 8 weeks ago. We have
been diligent about switching her over to a GF diet for the past two months.
My question is: how will I know if she accidentally ingests gluten. She does
not have the vocabulary to express anything other than a "booboo".
Are there signs I could be aware of? I would like to think we are doing an
excellent job in keeping ALL gluten out of her diet, but that would be too good
to be true. It worries me that she could be eating a product with hidden
gluten, and we have no idea she is feeling the effects of it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jill
