I originally asked if any other list members were rejected by mosquitoes
as I am and if any one could offer an explanation for why. I got 52
responses. Here's the break down:

22 said they are very resistant to mosquito bites
12 said they get bites like everyone else

Explanations offered:
2 said eating dairy products attracks them (I eat no dairy)
2 said that eating red meat attracts them (I eat lots of red meat)
4 said eating sugar attracks them (I eat very little sugar)
1 said eating peanuts and bananas attracts them
1 said tanned skin repells insects
2 said high levels of B vitamins repells them
3 said eating garlic repells them (I do cook with garlic)
1 said eating onions repells them (I eat lots of onions)
1 said smoking repells them
1 said that eating high sulfer foods repells them (I eat a lot of high
sulfer foods http://wij.free.fr/soufre.txt )
1 said Tacoma mosquitos are dumber than else where (hmmmm.......)

Finally, I'll conclude with my favorite comment offered by Barbara:
"Could be gluten intolerance. Finally, maybe a perk from this insidious
disorder."
