Dear Listmates,
In response to K. Davies recent post about outback I want to share
my strategies for eating out there. I was informed by a very helpful
manager at an OUtback near Phila., PA that when thay make the ceasar
salad they toss the salad in some kind of enlosed bowl/tosser. Thus
he suggested that I should always order my salad with the dressing
on the side(And of course without croutons) as the bowl/tosser is
contaminated with croutons from the previous salad. This is an easy
way to resolve the issue and I have never had any waitstaff question
me on this. Also, as I generally get the steamed veggies, I use the
remaining ceasar dressing on the veggies too. Happy eating.
