recruits skilled engineers and technicians to create assistive devices
for persons with disabilities.  Our goal is to link skilled volunteers
with people that have disabilities and to develop customized assistive
devices that reduce physical barriers in all aspects of basic living.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an excellent employment opportunity for someone looking for

The Community Connections Developer will be responsible for the
following:
•     Establishing an initial network of contacts within the disability
community of your city and the surrounding area.
•     Provide Head Office (Vancouver Office) with the information of clients
interested in accessing services offered through Tetra
•     Create awareness within the community of our unique services offered
to individuals with disabilities.
•     Promote services offered through the Tetra Society.

APPROPRIATE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•     Excellent communication skills, ability to cold call and document
accurate information.
•     Self-driven, creative and able to work independently
•     Ability to create a network of potential leads for future referrals.
•     Desire to help people with disabilities to overcome barriers in their
environment.
