Hi, all.  Just thought I'd give you an update on my breast lump.

I had a mammogram on Friday, and saw the surgeon today.  She said it feels
like a benign lymph node.  She did an ultrasound of my breast, and saw that
the lump is solid, so she knows it's not a cyst.  She decided to do a
fine-needle biopsy or aspiration or whatever they call it.  This involved
her sticking a real thin needle into the lump four different times to take
tissue from it to send to the lab.  She should have the results on
Thursday.  If it's a lymph node, she'll probably just want to see me
periodically to see how it's doing.  If it's not a lymph node or the lab
can't tell for sure because there weren't enough cells for them to test,
she might want to schedule me for a regular ultrasound where a trained
technician actually reads the results, and then possibly a removal of the
lump.  So now I wait until Thursday.  Will keep you posted.
