It is always amazing to me how differently the healing of woundedness occurs
in people individually as the Holy Spirit begins His finishing work.  The
spiritual intimacy that we all desire, but rarely experience as Christians,
defies words.  At one point during our prayer time Saturday, Lelia said, and
I don't even know if she recalls this, but she said, it felt like the top of
her head was coming off.  At that point, I knew the Holy Spirit was starting
to do something for her and shortly thereafter, she suddenly started talking
about a waterfall.  I may be mistaken, but I think she even said once, I am
a waterfall or I feel like I am a waterfall.  She then began talking about
God's love.  I just had to stop typing for a few seconds because I broke out
in goose bumps and I felt tingling all over.  I had that same sensation last
night when I saw Lelia's message on echurch.  I could tell you of many other
such wonderful descriptions that people have described.  For example, one
lady was in a prayer sessions and she described being led into a large
bright room and the room was filled with light; nothing but light.  Jesus
told her at that point that this bright room was her's to explore.  One lady
I was praying with went clear back to the moment of her birth.  She was born
prematurely and weighed, as I recall, just slightly over one pound.  At the
moment the Lord healed her in this memory, she said she felt as though Jesus
was holding her tiny little body in both of His hands.  Try and top that
one.  Although I have had many such spiritual experiences of intimacy, to
date, the greatest one is what you have all heard me talk about when I flew
kites with Jesus.  That experience lasted one second at the most but in that
one second, the impression of spending the whole afternoon flying kites was
the Lord invaded my entire life.  There isn't a day that goes by now that I
don't, at some point of the day or night, see myself walking into that open
field with Jesus, kite in hand, and seeing the kite of Jesus already flying
in the air, high overhead, with no string attached to it.  His kite was the
same color as the one I was carrying in my hand out to the field and that
was red.  Talk about oneness.  Such a simple little thing but something that
has radically changed my life.  Praying with a lawyer one day, he described
a very unusual experience relating to his earthly father which God converted
into his Heavenly Father.  When it happened, he sort of laughed and said,
the Lord just said to me, jump up here into my lap.  I said, did you do it?
He said, yep.  I just jumped right up there into God's lap.  The spiritual
intimacy of that little event is overwhelming even to me as one who sat
there and listened and watch God moving around inside that man's life.
Another man I was praying with was taken back to a focal point when he was 6
years old where he was traumatized with fear in the bathroom, of all places.
In fact, he literally became afraid of bathrooms in his later life as an
adult.  Talk about healing phobias, that one is unusual to say the least.
When the Lord healed him, he said he saw his favorite little red boat in the
bathtub which he loved playing with more than any other toy.  Weird?  Yes.
Spiritual intimate?  That's what it really is.  I hope you do not
misunderstand what I am about to say but praying intercessory prayers of
agreement with people and watching the Holy Spirit walking around inside of
them and healing brokenness and woundedness and then removing the pain they
have carried for much, if not for most, of their life is absolutely the most
rewarding thing I have ever been involved in since I was born again at age
five.  I have had amazing spiritual experiences with the Lord as an
intercessor, some of which, if I described them, you would find almost
impossible to believe.  I experienced them through prayer myself and I still
find them hard to believe.  However, this form of intercession through
agreement in prayer on a one to one bases, defies explanation.  The only
problem we all have, unfortunately, is that we have not obeyed God's Word by
submitting ourselves one to another in the fear of God.  When this type of
accountability becomes fully a part of the church, lives will be changed.
We are told Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle and
that is exactly what He is going to do.  In order to do that, He is going to
fix the brokenness His people have carried around, normally without really
knowing it, all their lives.  I told my pastor one day many years ago, if I
get to Heaven and find out that there were gifts Jesus wanted to give me
during my life and for which He gave His own life for me to have but I
didn't believe Him for them while on earth, I'm not going to be very happy
with myself.  I cannot recall with whom I was speaking the other day, but I
told them that the Lord had hundreds of little gifts for them but if they
didn't submit to the will of the Lord now, they would get to Heaven one day
and they would weep because they will see how great God's love was for them
yet they did not take advantage of all those gifts while on earth.  When I
told whoever this was that, I was actually feeling and spiritually seeing
all those gifts sitting around the Lord as if He were waiting for someone to
come and open them.  That's what the Lord is doing for you today, too.  He
is sitting and waiting for you.  No, you have not received everything He has
for you yet.  If you think that, you are being deceived.  For me, I have at
least two major things I am seeking the Lord for.  There are actually many
more things than that but I only see two immediately in front of me.  Beyond
those two will be many more but I cannot comprehend all the Lord wants to do
in me.  I'm looking forward now in my life where as two years ago I did
nothing but look back.  The scary thing was for me, that when I looked back,
I saw nothing.  Additionally, when I looked forward, I could see nothing.  I
suddenly was caught in the headlights of the Holy Spirit and I froze at the
on coming danger that was attempting to run me down and take my life.  You
want to know how to avoid that on coming danger?  Just step aside and let it
pass you by.  When you do, you will discover all the time you thought it was
on coming danger, it was nothing more than the Holy Spirit coming to heal
you.  You need the Light of the world to experience that healing power and
intimacy.
