Jerry,

The cable for the ts-2000 computer control is a db-9 straight through. Not
a null modem type which has 1 pair of wires reversed. For some reason
Kenwood put a male plug on the rig, the same as is on the serial port on
the pc, so you will need a double female cable or use an adapter.

This simple cconnection will open up the world of computer control. Not
only the programs from Kenwood (1 free- 1 not), but also all the modern
logging programs and other third party control programs which control the
rig.

One of the rear din's is for amp control, and another is for audio in-out
for digital stuff and a few other connections that escape me right now.
Forget what the third din is for.

73, have fun, Steve KW3A
