It sounds as if you have set the radio to receive CTCSS and if none of the machines have CTCSS on
their outputs then you'll not hear the output.

Press the 7 key until you hear a low beep this will turn the receive tone off. To transmit a tone,
tap the 7 key once.
I suspect you may want to reprogram your memories.  Do it with the software if you can.

Subject: THF6A PROBLEM


Hi guys,
I now have the Kenwood THF6A.  I have a few repeaters etc. programmed in.
The problem is that I have gotten it into a strange mode.  If I key a
repeater or even want to listen to it, I have to hold the lower button under
the PTT button that opens the squelch.  How can I fix it.  I don't want to
walk around holding that button.  Thanks and 73.
