John you are right about those adapters.  They are hard to find, I have seen
them at ham fest a few times but that as been the only place.
I must be a lot luckyer than I thought.  I have used the mc 50 on ts 520 and
ts 440 and a mc 60 on a 940 and a 570 and never had any problem at all.  I
have had very good reports as well.  If any one would like to give a mc 85 a
try I have one.  I wish I had never spent the money for that mic.  -----
