I tried this trick with the K1000 when I last tried to sign up to a
yahoo group. The graphic must be of a contrast that the OCR doesn't
work?

Anyone else tried signing up to a yahoo group lately?

Lynn,

Thanks for clearing this up. I see what everyone's talking about now.
Actually I was pretty much able to read it by printing the page to the
Kurzweil 1000 virtual printer and letting k1000 recognize the page. it
did pic up the email address.

Definitely a clunky workaround, but if you don't have any way to get it,
it's better than nothing.

Don and others,
What you are missing is that the e-mail address in the detail field has
changed to a graphical box. Probably this isn't screenreader friendly
(Jaws or Window-eyes). Someone could try wm7d.net to see if that works.
My callsign detail lists my e-mail address there, so n8lxk is one to
try. 73

It has always worked just that way for me too, Don.
