As far as accessibility, there really isn't any comparison.  If one works
with it, the 746 is probably as useable, but not as accessible, if you see
my drift.

The Kenwood runs 160 through 2, plus 440, and 1296 if you get the X option.
I thought the 756 only ran 160 thru 6 and the 746 ran 160 thru 2.  Didn't
think either Icom ran 440.  Has this changed with the PRO models?  I know
the stock 756 and 746 were as I listed when I looked at them a couple years
ago before buying the 2000.
