Hi Richard. There a couple of things that you want to do both in echo
link and in window eyes. First, make sure that you are in the explorer
view. the easiest way to do this is, go up from the bottom of the screen
with your mouse pointer until you find the line that says index view
explorer view. Window-eyes should say graphic just before each of theese
items, so you just need to put your mouse pointer on the graphic before
explorer view and left click. Now, you want to go to your tools menu and
choose preferences. the first tab is list and your want to uncheck
anything that says show in index view. This will insure that the next
time you bring up the program, you will see nothing but the explorer
view.
Now, while echo link is open, bring up the window-eyes control panel and
choose the screen pulldown menu. You want to turn on alpha-numeric,
which will make window-eyes read ham calls more or less corectly. I also
find it helpful to turn on the math setting, as it then speaks the dashes
and other things, that make it a little easier to understand the line
that you arrow up or down to.
Hope I have made some sense! GRiN! If you have any more questions, feel
free to give me a call, at:

Or you can usually catch me on echo link. I am KG7FA dash L, or node
number, 91232.
