Are all of you as sick as I am of researchers advertising their pie in the sky
ideas before they work!

Facial and object recognition, first does anybody really care enough to wear
pounds of junk? and second, the real world is the reality test.
Every piece of computer vision stuff I've seen works in the
researchers idealized environment, none of it works in the
real world.
