The chips sound like NEC's 16 Megabit hyper page (implicitly
EDO) DRAM. The "-80" would imply that the chips are rated at
80 nanoseconds, which would be incongruous for EDO.
4 chips x 16 Mbits = 8 MBytes each SIMM.
I presume these are double-sided SIMMs and you've checked
the part numbers. If these are actually 80 ns RAM, you should
avoid using them in a Pentium or even a fast 486.
Best way is to plug them into a PC and see what turns up. Or
check the NEC web page at: http://www.nec.com
and search under "Memory".
