If FDISK can see the drive then you can install the OS on it. If FDISK can't
see the drive you need to go into the BIOS and make sure that the SCSI
controller is enabled and the boot sequence is correct. Also depending on
what kind of SCSI controller you have, it may have it's own BIOS that you
need to get into. Check to see what the controller is and check the website
for info on this.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Refurbished systems

I usually build new systems and repair older ones. I have had a few
requests for a basic get online check email burn a cd type machine. As
M.Sawyer said in a an earlier post most dont want to by used. Well my
customers have indicated that they want to so i bought a few 15 off lease
systems and all of them have scsi hard drives in them pentium 2 350 mhz 64
megs of ram all i had to do is ad cd and os and they are out the door in
theory. Heres the catch I have never had any luck installing an os onto a
system that has a a scsi drive this particular system does not read the HD
or cd rom which will pick up in my non scsi machine. Any Ideas as to how I
can get this white elephant to get out of the door

Thanks
