Well Brad,
I think too that you are grieving a sence of loss, opportunity lost to
minister God's love to a hurting person that was so close. A situation
like this really can make us feel like failures as Christians because we
start thinking, "What if I had..." a lot. You are dealing with the fact
that this wasn't someone suffering half way round the world, but it was a
neighbor and yet, our fast paced society has divided us up so much that
you just didn't know. This tragedy is a demonstration of, despite
technological advances, how much we really need each other in the flesh
to survive.
