Gee hee hees!
This storey which starts at genesis 29 16 is messed! up.
So far I have read to genesis 36 40 this morning.
Is this chick Laia low vision?
Says her eyes were delekat then later it says something about her efliction
or something like that.
You'd think god wouldn't help out people who engaged in polygamy but there
seems to be quite a few people in the bible who engaged in this sort of
thing.
Of course in this storey, Jacob would have prefered that he just have
Rachael but you have the whole father tricking him into taking the other
daughter first, then Rachael, then Rachael couldn't conceive so he had a
child with her maid servent, I have forgotten just how all that went but
sure looks messed up to me!
Especially when you look back at the first union and they were monogamis
from what I could tell.
Before Jacob was Abraham whose wife also had no children for a long time and
they were manipulative to try and do god's will from what I recall.
This stuf's wild.
And, yes, I am still reading John, I just get distracted and hop around to
my book marks.
I marked this storey back when I was reading genesis strait through.
You could say that couples like Terri and I who have trouble getting
pregnant are manipulative in taking ovulation drugs and all that we did but
we don't seem to have god getting women pregnant in their 90's and such like
with Abraham's wife now a days.
Seems to be a small window of opportunity for such in our day.
