The ts2000 covers both hf and uhf and vhf as you may have gathered.  Is
there help available so that those fingers can get up a good hf antenna
system?  For me figuring out the radio has been manageable but the antenna
projects were always much more of an adventure.
My dad helped put up a small tower 2 or 3 homes ago and although he had no
idea about ham radio he was as helpful as some of the previously mentioned
readers.
