I have never used it myself, but once had a friend who used one for several
years.

He was in North Dakota, and we talked regularly through most of the 1990's
until shortly before his death in 1998.

He had the B&W, plus a Butternut HF6 vertical. On a given day, one antenna
would out perform the other with a specific station.
