Hmmm, when my friend was looking no one had the 870,  I guess if AES has
some it's probably very few and a long time before they get more,  it's a
great radio, but people I know that have had that and then the 2000, say the
2000 is just as good on the HF side so I can see why they might discontinue
it but I wish Kenwood would come out with another big box.
