I don't remember all the various letters and so forth, but 58 is a much
higher loss cable than rg8x.  8x is kind of a compromise as it is less
lossy than 58, but I don't think as good as rg8.    Also, if you use 8x,
you'll need the bushings or reducers made for rg59.
