for the first, try importing into oe6 instead of exporting and it will work
nicely.  you need to go into security settings in oe under tools/options and
uncheck the do not open attachments checkbox.

Hello:

I recently Installed Window XP on a separate drive.

I want to transfer my Outlook Express 5 address book to the new
drive(outlook 6).

If I click file/export/address book (in Outlook 5), I am asked to "select a
program to export to". The select box is empty.

Also, in Outlook 6, someone had sent a message with an attachment. If I
click the "paper clip" (attachment) the file is greyed out.

I was able to retrieve in Outlook 5.

Can someone assist?
