The more responses I get, the more confused I get. My gastro dr. told me this am that since my husband & I have no symptoms & neg bloodwork, we should stick to taking care of our daughter and assume we're fine. He said that sprue is a recessive gene, even if one or both of us has the gene, doesn't mean we have the disease. He is one of the top drs. in NYC. Any comments?
