This is really a twofold question:

(1) What cheeses (any and all) do you know are safe; and,

(2) I am very careful with looking at ingredients on cheese packages and
usually get Sargento’s since they use potato starch. However, I noticed
that my stool always floats when I eat cheese. Is this because it’s
contaminated? Is it just because it’s cheese (you know how it sticks to
plates – so maybe it sticks to the villa and prevents absorption)? I don’t
have any other symptoms (no pain, diarrhea, etc.) and other dairy products
don’t have the same effect (e.g., ice cream – for which I eat a lot of)!
Just curious if anyone has ever had the same thing or analyzed cheese?

I really don’t want to give up cheese cause I love it and on almost
everything! Thanks in advance for your thoughts and help!

Best Regards, Janet
