I can't really remember exactly but I would say at least a year with a
splurge/cheat every 2 to 3 weeks. My splurges/cheats are things like natural
peanut butter or cashew butter, rice protein (on days I am fasting), green
beans, an occasional glass of red wine, and the other day I actually had a
little bread and some low carb ice cream. The latter is unusual for me
though. Before I made it to this level of paleo I was eating low carb things
like low carb wheat tortillas probably once a week or more. I have been
eating low carb since 1996.
